We are looking for people who are willing to become foster parents and offer foster home for animals of the animal shelters. Foster home (or temporary home) means the willingness to take care of an animal until the animal founds new permanent home and owner. Sometimes this may take for a few weeks, sometimes for a few months, it can also be a limited period of time which is suitable for you.

Animals with specials needs, which for some reason are not yet ready to go to the new home, are in a particular need for a foster home. The reason for this may be that the animal is still too weak, too small or tameness in case the animal has been vagrant and has no experience in interacting with people. In addition, it has to be taken into account that often these animals need more attention than the rest of the animals.

By offering your time, your energy and your home to an animal in need, you are helping to prepare the animal to getting ready to go to its new home but also to reduce the excessive stress of our shelters.

The shelter will facilitate in every way the foster home to take care of the animal, including support in veterinary activities and, if necessary, in feeding. What we expect from the foster home is that you are willing to dedicate sufficient time to the animal, and to offer your care and your love in a comfortable temporary home.
