Võru Shelter is administered by Varjupaikade MTÜ since 1 August 2008. The Shelter is located at Lühike 3 in Võru town and is open to visitors from Tuesday to Saturday between the hours of 12:00 - 15:00. Besides Võru town Võru Shelter also provides its services to the counties of Võru, Vastseliina, Põlva, Sõmerpalu, Misso, Laheda, Lasva and Põlva town.

Requests for service are handled from Tuesday to Friday between the hours of 09:00 and 17:00 and on Saturdays between 10:00 and 15:00; out of hours we respond to calls involving incidents where the lives of people or animals are at risk. When contacting us out of hours, please be sure to leave a message on the answering machine. We value the well-being of every animal very highly and you will be contacted as soon as possible. Donations to the animals at Võru Shelter can be made in donation boxes in Farmax Animal Clinic, pet shop Sinu Sõber and at the Shelter.
